A Turnkey Transformation: Integrating Smart Technology and MEP for Student Well-being
SA Project led the complete design, build, and technological modernisation of the Hong Kong Sea School's 20,000 sq.ft. dormitory block in Stanley. The four-storey project was a comprehensive transformation, aimed at creating a modern, safe, and supportive living environment to enhance the well-being and academic success of its students.
Our design approach introduced modern aesthetics and highly efficient space planning, breathing new life into the residence and optimizing the layout for comfort and functionality. A central pillar of the project was the deep integration of smart building solutions. There technologies streamline daily operations for staff and significantly improve student safety and security, creating an intelligent and responsive environment.
Underpinning the entire modernisation was our advanced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) expertise. We engineered and installed new systems focused on providing optimal thermal comfort while maximizing energy efficiency. This sustainable approach not only promotes a healthier living space but also reduces the school's long-term operational costs.
