A Turnkey Design & Build for a Premier Fencing Academy
SA Project was appointed as the turnkey design and build partner for the relocation and creation of Excel Fencing's new state-of-the-art academy. We transformed a 4,000 sq.ft. commercial space at Marina 8, Wong Chuk Hang, into a premier venue for fencing in Hong Kong.
Our integrated design and construction process focused on creating a facility purpose-built for the sport. The layout was meticulously planned to accommodate multiple training pistes, dedicated competition areas, spectator seating, and supporting facilities. The modern aesthetic, featuring bold graphics and a dynamic color palette, was designed to capture the high-energy nature of fencing.
A critical component of the project was the seamless integration of specialized fencing technology, including electronic scoring systems and custom sports flooring, alongside performance lighting and ventilation. Our expertise ensured the creation of a durable, safe, and world-class competition environment.
